COMBED COTTON
Combed cotton is an extremely soft cotton fabric made by specially treating the cotton fibers before they are spun into yarn.
The texture of combed cotton is softer because all dirt and impurities have been removed from the thread and it lacks short threads that stick out and prickle. Combed cotton is a good quality fabric: stronger, softer and smoother. Cotton which has not undergone the combing process tends to be rougher and more liable to fraying, pilling, and tearing.
